about

The charity project run by Nifu Nifa Records continues bringing the music to children in Egypt, and with this motto, releasing its fourth instalment. This time the artists in charge are Dr Palunski & Mr Kroup, aka Charles Moset and Oiram Gar. Moset brings to the EP his own brand of house, deep-techno, dub, broken beats and disco to the team, while Oiram Gar adds his continuously evolving diversity and originality to the mix. Neverwhere is the track that names it, which counts on remixes by the producers Suso Flores and Hassan Abou Alam.

The original Neverwhere is a summer style ode to the deep sound, mixing seducing percussive elements with meticulously modulated broken melodies. Neverwhere is intended to work on the dancefloor as well as on the early or the after set hours, as it is versatile and its rhythm changes dynamically along the way. Surely to be packed for the Balearic sunset soundtracks, Moset and Gar have delivered this cut in style and developed the unique identity of their sound.

Suso Flores turns de original cut into a reminiscence of childhood, which represents his own sound. He intensifies the tempo and adds oneiric elements and space sounds to an atmospheric game of synths and housey danceable melodies, which are also part of his signature. No doubt this track will be a delight for those who have got exquisite ears, and for those dancers who know their stuff.

With his interpretation of Neverwhere, Hassan Abou Alam is in charge of adding the techno approach to this fourth release on Nifu Nifa Records. Alam introduces metallic, darker and more mysterious sounds, but he still manages to keep the essence and the rhythm of the original, making it the most dancefloor oriented out of the three. The intensity of the synth melody after the break down makes your ears engaged until the very last beat.

An EP that confirms the solidness of this new label, which continues giving a good chance to new artists and at the same time, carries out an important charity project.
